Pearls look great on every type of evening wear, from a little black dress to a full length evening gown. For evening wear, you can wear white pearls (which will go with almost anything), or black Tahitian pearls or golden coloured pearls. These are all luxurious and beautiful options for your evening dress. Pink pearls look great with a matching outfit.

Choosing pearls for your evening dress
For your face, consider either pearl stud earrings, or if you have your hair up, dangling pearl earrings are particularly effective.
You should select accessories based on your dress style. For a low-cut evening gown, such as a V neck, you can wear a long necklace or a pearl pendant to show off the cut of your dress. If you have a closed neckline, forget about the necklace (you don’t want it over the top of your dress), but focus on some pearl earrings, or a choker. Also select pearl accessories that complement your body shape. If you have a short neck, don’t choose a choker or dangling earrings, as they will make your neck look shorter. Instead choose a longer necklace. If you have a long neck, a choker with a rounded neckline looks great.
If you are wearing a sleeveless dress, a pearl bracelet can look very elegant. If you are also wearing a pearl necklace, make sure that they are a matching set.
Larger pearls, or longer and more elaborate pieces tend to suit a more simple dress design while smaller pearls suit a more elaborate or detailed design.
